I’m honored to be this months guest blogger on The Authentic Thinker. This article explores the functional commonality between chronic physical and emotional pain. It helped me understand why the two are often treated and understand so similarly from the outsiders perspective and why those suffering from either one tend to relate to each other’s lives. You can find the full article on Facebook or by clicking the link above, it will be posted to Embrace the brace.com later this month. #embracethebrace #chronicpain #mentalhealthawareness #ehlersdanlossyndrome
I’m on this weeks podcast of @invisiblenotbroken talking about Embrace The Brace! I’m honored and thankful for this opportunity😃 this is an amazing group of podcasts I encourage anyone with an invisible illness /or close to someone who does to check out there website and past interviews! #invisibleillness #chronicillness #invisiblebutnotbroken#chronicillnesswarrior #ehlersdanlossyndrome #embracethebrace #healthblog ———— Do you have any life hacks? * “I have a whole website dedicated to life hacks for EDS and related conditions with tons of practical tips and tricks. EmbraceTheBrace.com But here’s a mind hack that should relate to all invisible illness- Know that you’re absolutely not obligated to explain yourself to anyone, EVER. If you’re sharing your story with strangers to raise awareness, I recommend keeping a print out of something you can give out instead of continuously reviewing your personal story. Focus on explaining how friends and family can help support you, as opposed to trying to get them to fully understand your illness. And remember to listen to all advice with a grain of salt. Believe in the power of your own intuitions. “
The Zoffin! The craziest thing I ever thought I could invent lol more info on embracethebrace.com✨ #embracethebrace #ehlersdanlossyndrome #sleeppillow #hypermobility
